Aero foil sail’s line is the one that has given us the greatest satisfaction in the last 3 years. World Champions in 2022, third in 2023 and Vice World Champions in 2024 (with different athletes). But we are not resting on our laurels we want that title back. The requirements for a foil sail are completely different to a slalom one so it’s needs innovation to lead the way. After the S-SHAPE developed for all our sails we’ve developed the S-LEECH specifically for the foil range. The sail’s leech has an innovative S-shaped outline. This allows the top of the sail to be less exposed, more stable and to open progressively from batten 2, 3, and 4. The whole leech is more responsive in gusts of wind, working on its own without rider intervention. We’ve also lowered the second batten from the bottom which lowers the centre of effort, preventing the rider from being lifted in the gusts. The result is a faster more stable sail with less vibration through to the foil.
