As soon as the PWA Japan event finished the Team set to work testing and refining the 2024 Aero
Foil range. Introducing a new 4.7m at the top end to cover races up to 40 knots for events like Pozo
and Fuerteventura was one of the key priorities. The PWA sailors requirement was simple – more
speed and more stability. After many prototypes over several weeks of intense testing during the
day and tweaking the design by night we are delighted with the results. We have reduced the size
of the head, increased the fullness low down and reduced the progressiveness of the leach
resulting in the top two battens being slightly more closed to deliver the speed and stability
requested. The smile on the riders’ faces coming off the water said Claudio had yet again worked his magic.
