Ultra-Reactive 3-Batten Wave Sail
The lightest, most agile wave sail in the GS Collection. Built with Grey Shark material for riders who live for radical turns, aerials and pure wave riding. Three battens, zero compromise.
The GS3 is for riders who want one thing above all: total freedom on the wave face. With only three battens, this is the lightest and most responsive sail in the entire GS Collection — a tool designed for radical manoeuvres, tight bottom turns, and explosive aerial riding.
Every GS3 is handcrafted one-at-a-time in Senigallia, Italy, using Grey Shark material — an advanced Dyneema and ultralight taffeta composite that places reinforcement fibres exactly along the sail’s primary load paths. The result is a sail that stays sharp and reactive session after session, without the profile degradation you get from conventional laminates.
The three-batten layout gives the GS3 a lively, dynamic character that thrives in critical wave sections. The sail fills and releases power instantly, following your movements without resistance. When you initiate a turn, it’s already there. When you throw an aerial, it stays light in your hands.
Despite its ultra-low weight, the GS3 delivers surprising stability. The Grey Shark load-path engineering keeps the profile clean and controlled even in gusty, turbulent conditions — so you can commit fully without worrying about the sail letting go.
The GS3 is built for the purist wave sailor. If you ride side-shore or side-off spots, chase critical sections, and value manoeuvrability above everything else — this is your sail. It rewards lighter riders and technically skilled sailors who want a sail that moves with them, not against them.
Best for: Pure wave riding · Aerial moves · Ultra-reactive handling Feel: Lively · Loose · Precise
Every GS3 is individually crafted to order. Choose from a curated palette of premium colourways to create a sail that performs and looks exactly the way you want.
Designed by master sailmaker Claudio Badiali — 45+ years of Italian sailmaking expertise.
